- Conversation Data: Messages exchanged between you and Jess
- User Preferences: Voice settings, spiritual preference settings
- Journal Entries: Content you write in the journal feature (if used)
- Wisdom Keepers: Information you share about meaningful people in your life (if used)
- Usage Data: Session duration, feature usage (anonymized)
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Provide personalized spiritual guidance and remember your conversation history
- Improve Jess's responses and helpfulness over time
- Send you magic link emails for authentication
- Process payments (if you subscribe to Premium)
What We Never Do
- We never sell your personal data to third parties
- We never share your conversations with advertisers
- We never use your personal stories for marketing without consent
- We never train AI models on identifiable personal data
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with:
- Encryption at rest and in transit
- Row-level security ensuring you can only access your own data
- Regular security audits
- Data centers located in the United States
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- xAI (Grok): AI conversation generation
- Anthropic (Claude): AI response refinement
- ElevenLabs: Voice synthesis (Premium feature)
- Stripe: Payment processing
Each service has its own privacy policy. AI providers process your messages to generate responses but do not retain them for training purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export: Download your conversation history and journal entries
- Correct: Update your account information

Data Retention
- Free users: Last 8 sessions of conversation history
- Premium users: Full conversation history retained indefinitely
- Deleted accounts: All data permanently deleted within 30 days
Children's Privacy
With Jess is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
